Actor Richard Gere celebrated his 77th birthday surrounded by family. His wife, Alejandra Silva, shared celebratory moments on Instagram, featuring the couple and their 6-year-old son, James.

Silva, a Spanish activist, and Gere have two sons together, Alexander and James. Gere also has a 26-year-old son, Homer, from his previous marriage to Carey Lowell, and is a stepfather to Silva’s son, Albert. The family has spent time living in both the United States and Spain, with the children being raised bilingually in English and Spanish.
