Richard Heart arrested in Istanbul police operation

Richard James Schueler, known globally as Richard Heart, the developer of the HEX and PulseChain cryptocurrency projects, has been apprehended in Istanbul. The operation was a joint effort by the Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) and the Istanbul Police Department’s Intelligence and Financial Crimes branches.

Schueler was the subject of an Interpol Red Notice following allegations of large-scale digital currency fraud by Finnish authorities. He also faced legal action from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2023 regarding the sale of unregistered financial products.

During the raid on a luxury residence in Beşiktaş, authorities seized several weapons, including three pistols and four rifles, along with ammunition and a knife. Additionally, police confiscated four million dollars in cash, luxury watches, wallets, and multiple computers for forensic examination.
