Richard Jenkins and Joy Sunday bond on set of ‘DTF St. Louis’

Actors Richard Jenkins and Joy Sunday have developed a close friendship while filming the HBO miniseries ‘DTF St. Louis’. The two portray investigators Donoghue Homer and Jodie Plumb, who partner to solve the murder of an American Sign Language interpreter.

Sunday noted that while their characters began with a rough partnership, the process of filming a pivotal scene together helped break the ice, leading to a real-life bond. The series, written and directed by Steven Conrad, has earned 13 Emmy nominations, including recognition for each of its five lead actors.
