Richard Keita Kusama headlines ‘THE RE:BORN CHASING DISCOTHEQUE LIVE’ in Tokyo

Japanese performer Richard Keita Kusama will appear in the dance‑and‑live‑entertainment show “THE RE:BORN CHASING DISCOTHEQUE LIVE” at Tokyo’s Globe Theatre from October 28‑30. The production is produced, directed and choreographed by Asahi Yara, who first launched the “DISCOTHEQUE” concept in 2018. Kusama, a former member of the idol group A! Group, left the group in November 2022, took a hiatus for mental‑health treatment and announced his solo comeback in February 2023. This marks his first major stage appearance since the break.

The show blends music, dance and audience‑participation, featuring new songs written for the event by music director m.c.A.T. Kusama said, “I am grateful for the chance to express myself and to meet my fans directly; the joy and excitement of delivering my entertainment to more people is priceless.” Yara added that Kusama’s involvement will help bring the “DISCOTHEQUE” world‑view to a wider audience.
