Richard Lee trial intensifies as defense prepares national witness

The legal proceedings for aesthetic doctor Richard Lee at the Tangerang District Court have intensified following testimony from Dr. Janet Aprilia Stanzah. During the hearing, an individual known as Doktif challenged the credibility of Dr. Janet’s testimony, specifically regarding the presence of stem cell stickers at the defendant’s clinic.

Doktif, who claims a long-standing acquaintance with Dr. Janet, raised concerns regarding her previous leadership in the Indonesian Aesthetic Doctors Association (Perdesti). Doktif alleged that Dr. Janet’s management of the organization was unfair, leading to professional disagreements.

Richard Lee’s legal counsel, Faizal Hafied, announced that the defense team is preparing to present three additional witnesses in the coming week. Among these witnesses is a figure described as a national figure. Previous witnesses provided testimony regarding Richard Lee’s whereabouts on specific dates in late 2024 to support his defense.
