Richard Müller announces Christmas tour despite recent health issues

Slovak and Czech music legend Richard Müller is preparing for a Christmas 2026 tour, which will include a performance in Zlín, Czech Republic, on November 9. The tour is expected to feature a large ensemble of thirteen musicians, including a string section, a brass section, and three vocalists.

Müller also announced plans for a new album titled ‘66’, scheduled for release in the autumn of 2027, with recording sessions beginning in the spring.

Despite these future plans, Müller recently had to cancel several scheduled performances, including appearances at the Pálava Wine Festival in Mikulov and the Rača Wine Festival in Bratislava, due to health complications. His wife, Vanda Wolfová, clarified that the singer has been suffering from fever and a cold, with subsequent concerns regarding potential pneumonia.
