Richard Raši reacts to Slovak municipal and regional election results

Richard Raši, Speaker of the National Council of the Slovak Republic, has commented on the results of the recent municipal and regional elections. He thanked citizens for their participation, noting that voter turnout increased compared to 2022, reaching approximately 48.4% for municipal elections and 46.6% for regional elections.

Raši emphasized the importance of respecting democratic outcomes regardless of the political affiliation of the elected officials. He stated that the mandate granted by voters carries a responsibility to manage public funds effectively, foster regional development, and address the daily concerns of citizens. He also called for continued cooperation between local governments and state institutions, stressing the need for constructive dialogue even among representatives with differing political views.
