Richard Wiseman honored for 38 years of union service

Richard Wiseman, a veteran teacher and deputy principal at Griffith High, has been named a life member of the NSW Teachers Federation. The honor recognizes his 38 years of service and advocacy for public education.

Throughout his career, Wiseman has been involved in several successful union campaigns, including efforts to prevent the sale of teacher housing, securing air-conditioning for classrooms, and winning pay increases and incentives to attract educators to the Griffith region. He has served as the Teachers Federation representative at Griffith High and represents the area at federation council meetings in Sydney.
