Richarlison accuses Flávio Bolsonaro of property dispute
Brazilian footballer Richarlison has publicly accused Senator Flávio Bolsonaro of involvement in a legal dispute regarding a luxury property in Ilha Comprida, Angra dos Reis. The Tottenham Hotspur striker claims he invested approximately 10 million reais in the residence between 2020 and 2021 alongside partners Alencar da Silveira Júnior and Renato Velasco.
Richarlison alleges that after he refused an offer to sell the property, he lost possession of the estate without financial compensation. In a social media video titled “Justiça,” the player called for an investigation by the Federal Police, claiming that Flávio Bolsonaro and attorney Willer Tomaz took possession of the island within 24 hours following his refusal to sell.
While the legal dispute spanned several years and reached the Supreme Court of Justice, a ruling in March 2025 favored the opposing party. Willer Tomaz, whose company currently holds possession of the property, has denied the accusations and challenged the footballer to provide documentation supporting his claims to the estate.
