Richarlison expected to leave Tottenham in January

Tottenham Hotspur is expected to facilitate the departure of striker Richarlison during the January transfer window. Following a breakdown in the relationship between the player and the club during the summer, reports indicate that the club has no intention of extending his contract beyond its current expiration in June 2027.

Club manager Roberto De Zerbi previously addressed the situation, noting that the player's behavior led to his omission from the Premier League squad. While De Zerbi had attempted to persuade the 29-year-old to stay and proposed a contract extension earlier in the season, the club is now reportedly willing to sell him for a reduced fee to avoid him leaving for free.

During the summer window, Richarlison reportedly rejected moves to Everton and Vasco da Gama. While interest from Trabzonspor was noted, it was rejected by Tottenham. Sources suggest the player may leave English football entirely for another market when the window reopens.
