Richarlison omitted from Tottenham Premier League squad

Tottenham Hotspur has officially omitted Brazilian forward Richarlison from its 25-man Premier League squad list. Manager Roberto De Zerbi stated that the 29-year-old has repeatedly expressed a desire to leave the club, making the decision to exclude him a logical step to allow him to find a new team.

Richarlison, who was Tottenham’s top scorer in the Premier League last season, had been linked with a return to Everton, but negotiations failed to reach an agreement before the English transfer window closed. He also released a social media statement expressing frustration over his future being decided by others.

With the English market closed, the player’s exit now depends on transfer windows in other regions. Turkish club Trabzonspor has emerged as a primary suitor and has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the player. Negotiations between Tottenham and Trabzonspor are ongoing, with reports suggesting a potential deal worth over £20 million. If a move to Turkey does not materialize before their deadline, Richarlison may consider options in the Saudi Pro League, where the transfer window remains open until October 12.
