Richmond Gyamfi joins Egersunds IK on loan from AGF Aarhus

Ghanaian forward Richmond Gyamfi has joined the Norwegian club Egersunds IK on loan from Danish side AGF Aarhus. The 21-year-old centre-forward is moving to the OBOS-ligaen to secure more regular first-team playing time.

Gyamfi, who stands 1.85m tall, joined AGF Aarhus from Hobro IK in July 2024 for a reported fee of €900,000. His tenure in Denmark has included several loan spells, including stints at Hobro IK and Esbjerg fB. The current loan agreement with Egersunds IK is set to run until December 31, 2026.
