Rick Galbos, Grey Cup champion running back, dies at 75

Former professional football player Rick Galbos has died at the age of 75.

Galbos played in the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he was a member of the 1977 Grey Cup championship team with the Montreal Alouettes. His career included stints with the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Calgary Stampeders, where he served as a blocking back.

Prior to his professional career, Galbos played for Ohio State University, contributing to their 1970 national championship team. Although he was selected by the Washington Redskins in the 1973 NFL Draft, he chose to sign with the CFL. Following his retirement from football, he lived in Canada and worked in the construction industry.
