Rick Hillier appointed strategic adviser for National Bank of Canada
Former chief of the defence staff Rick Hillier has been appointed as the strategic defence adviser for the National Bank of Canada. Hillier, who served over 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces, will support the bank’s defence and security clients, specifically within the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sectors.
National Bank CEO Laurent Ferreira described Hillier as a respected military leader and strategic thinker whose perspective will assist the bank in navigating a rapidly evolving environment.
