Rick Jackson outraises Keisha Lance Bottoms in Georgia governor race

Republican candidate Rick Jackson has significantly outpaced Democratic opponent Keisha Lance Bottoms in recent fundraising for the Georgia gubernatorial race. According to recent filings for the period ending July 31, Jackson raised $6.1 million since June 11, following his primary runoff victory. Much of this was facilitated through his leadership committee, For All Georgians Inc., which contributed $5 million.

Bottoms, the former Atlanta Mayor, raised $3.1 million between early May and July. While she has raised $5.7 million in total since May 6, 2025, her campaign reported having just over $770,000 on hand at the end of July.

Jackson, a healthcare entrepreneur, has spent over $100 million of his own funds to secure the GOP nomination. In total, he has raised or contributed more than $118 million to his campaign, leaving $4.3 million remaining as of late July. Most donations for both candidates came from individuals, though Bottoms has received more out-of-state contributions than Jackson.
