Rick Ross confronts Hermès over undelivered $12,000 sandals

Rapper Rick Ross publicly confronted a Hermès boutique in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood after a year-long delay regarding a pair of crocodile sandals valued at approximately $12,000. Ross, the founder of Maybach Music Group, documented his frustration on camera, stating that despite having already paid for the footwear, the order had never arrived.

During the confrontation, Ross expressed that he felt he was being “taken advantage of” and clarified that he was not seeking the product, but rather a full refund. Following the social media circulation of his complaint, Hermès reportedly issued the refund, resolving the dispute.

The incident occurs amid ongoing scrutiny of Hermès’ sales practices. The luxury brand has previously faced allegations regarding how it manages access to exclusive items, including a 2024 class-action lawsuit involving customers in California.
