Rick Stockstill named interim head coach at Florida State

Rick Stockstill has been appointed as the interim head coach for the Florida State Seminoles following the firing of Mike Norvell. Stockstill, 68, is a former quarterback for the program who played under legendary coach Bobby Bowden in the early 1980s.

Stockstill will lead the team for the final four regular-season games and potentially a bowl game, depending on the team's performance. The Seminoles currently hold a 3-5 record and a 1-4 standing in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
