Rick Wakeman releases new Mars-themed album ‘Return To The Red Planet’

Rick Wakeman, the former Yes keyboardist, has released a new progressive rock album titled ‘Return To The Red Planet’ via Madfish Records. The project serves as a sequel to his 2020 album, ‘The Red Planet’.

Performing with The English Rock Ensemble, Wakeman describes the work as one of the most ambitious of his career, blending science, imagination, and musical technique. The album includes a tribute track titled ‘Bowie’s Vision’, dedicated to his late friend David Bowie. This homage reflects their shared history and Bowie's influence on the cultural imagery of Mars.

The release is available in multiple formats, including digital streaming, CD, high-quality vinyl, and Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos.
