Ricky Martin presents film in Venice and discusses Menudo anniversary
Puerto Rican artist Ricky Martin is attending the Venice Film Festival to present ‘Hombre al agua’, a film directed by Gael García Bernal. Martin serves as both an actor and an executive producer for the project, which is being showcased in the Spotlight section out of competition.
Regarding his musical roots, Martin addressed the upcoming 50th-anniversary tour of Menudo. While he is not scheduled to perform in the tour, which includes seven former members, he noted that he might visit one of the stages, describing the group as his ‘best school’ where he first learned to sing and act.
Martin also shared insights into his personal lifestyle and wellness routine at age 54. To maintain the stamina required for international tours, he incorporates daily activities such as running 3 kilometers, practicing capoeira, and meditation.
