Ricky Sosa suffers severe back injury in TNA

TNA announced during a recent episode of ‘Impact’ that wrestler Ricky Sosa has sustained a severe back injury. The injury occurred during a number one contender ladder match for the TNA World Championship on the October 15 edition of the program.

During the match, the wrestler Moose performed a powerbomb on Sosa toward the floor. While Moose attempted to send Sosa through a propped-up ladder, Sosa’s back grazed the ladder before he landed on the floor. TNA has stated that Sosa is currently unable to compete, though the promotion has not provided a specific timeframe for his return to in-ring action.

Sosa, a European star who signed with the promotion in March, has recently been involved in high-profile feuds against Eric Young and The System.
