Érico Cardoso City Hall signs agreement to prevent electoral harassment

The City Hall of Érico Cardoso has signed a Conduct Adjustment Agreement (TAC) with the Public Ministry of Labor (MPT) to combat electoral harassment among workers. The agreement aims to ensure political freedom for all staff, including permanent, commissioned, temporary, and outsourced employees.

Under the terms, the municipality is prohibited from using hierarchical power to pressure workers regarding political affiliations, voting preferences, or participation in campaign events. Prohibited actions include threats of job loss, forced transfers, or reductions in benefits based on political choices. Additionally, electoral propaganda is banned within the workplace. The city must maintain a confidential communication channel for reporting harassment and is required to disseminate the agreement to all workers within 72 hours.
