Rico Lewis faces uncertain future at Manchester City

Manchester City midfielder Rico Lewis may consider leaving the club due to limited playing time under manager Enzo Maresca. Despite being contracted until 2030, the 21-year-old England international has only started one Premier League match this season.

Lewis recently demonstrated his potential during a 5-1 Champions League victory against AEK Athens, where he provided two assists for Phil Foden. However, he remained on the bench for the subsequent match against Aston Villa, as Maresca opted for Abdukodir Khusanov at right-back.

While his versatility across defense and midfield is valued, it has led to him being utilized primarily as a substitute. Several Premier League clubs are reportedly monitoring his situation, with Nottingham Forest having expressed interest during the summer transfer window.
