Rico Verhoeven engages in playful staredown at Walibi Holland

Kickboxer Rico Verhoeven participated in a playful staredown with Eddie de Clown, the mascot for the Halloween Fright Nights event at Walibi Holland. In a video of the encounter, Verhoeven approached the horror clown in a manner reminiscent of professional combat sports weigh-ins, attempting to maintain a serious expression before eventually breaking character.

While Verhoeven’s interaction was intended as a joke—joking that the Fright Night should become a Fight Night—the timing of the video has drawn attention following reports of actual physical altercations between visitors during the Halloween event on October 24. During those incidents, multiple fights broke out at the theme park, necessitating the deployment of the Mobile Unit to restore order.
