AEW wrestler Ricochet has criticized WWE on social media following comments made by Paul Heyman during the August 17, 2026, episode of RAW. The tension arose after Heyman intervened in a confrontation between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, suggesting that WWE, as a major publicly traded company, must answer to its shareholders in addition to its fans.

Responding on X, Ricochet contrasted this stance with AEW’s philosophy, stating, “We’re the Greatest Wrestling company in the world. So no we don’t answer to ‘Share Holders’ we answer to OUR fans.
