Ridderkerk hosts community meeting on Bolnes-Zuid development

The municipality of Ridderkerk has announced an information session for November 11 regarding the future development of the Bolnes-Zuid polder. The meeting aims to present a draft area program designed to balance various upcoming infrastructure and environmental needs.

Planned developments for the area include a high-voltage substation from TenneT and Stedin, as well as a dry water storage facility managed by Waterschap Hollandse Delta. The municipality intends to integrate these technical requirements with the preservation of nature and recreational spaces.

The draft area program will be available for public inspection starting November 6, allowing residents to review the documents and submit official responses. The meeting will take place from 17:00 to 19:00 at the Ridderzaal in the municipal office.
