Ride Along films to leave Netflix in October 2026

The comedy films Ride Along and Ride Along 2, starring Ice Cube and Kevin Hart, are scheduled to leave Netflix on October 1, 2026.

Directed by Tim Story, the two films were significant box-office successes despite receiving poor reviews from critics. Ride Along, released in 2014, earned over $154 million globally on a $25 million budget. Ride Along 2, released in 2016, grossed more than $124 million worldwide following a $40 million production budget.

While critical scores on Rotten Tomatoes remained low for both entries, audience reception was notably higher. Reports indicate that a third installment in the franchise is currently in development.
