RideFlux and Tata Daewoo Mobility partner on autonomous truck technology

RideFlux, an autonomous driving AI software company, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Tata Daewoo Mobility to develop Level 2+ driving assistance systems and Level 4 autonomous driving technology for commercial vehicles.

The collaboration focuses on integrating RideFlux’s highway software into Tata Daewoo’s heavy-duty truck platforms, specifically the Maxen and Gusten models. The Level 2+ system will provide integrated control for longitudinal and lateral movements, including lane changes, merging, overtaking, and toll booth navigation. Tata Daewoo will provide the vehicle platforms and control interfaces, while RideFlux will lead the development of Driver Control Assistance Systems (DCAS) software in compliance with UN R171 international standards.

A key objective of the partnership is to establish a data feedback loop, using real-world driving data from mass-produced vehicles to improve Level 2+ performance and validate Level 4 capabilities. The companies also aim to leverage the software-defined vehicle (SDV) architecture of Tata Motors to expand into the global commercial vehicle market. This move marks RideFlux’s transition from government-led demonstrations to a private B2B business model, coinciding with the company's ongoing pursuit of a KOSDAQ listing.
