RideFlux applies for KOSDAQ listing to advance Level 4 autonomous driving
RideFlux, an autonomous driving AI software specialist, has submitted a preliminary application for KOSDAQ listing to the Korea Exchange. The company aims for a listing in the second half of the year, supported by joint underwriters Korea Investment & Securities and Woori Investment & Securities.
RideFlux previously passed a technology evaluation with 'A/A' ratings from two specialized agencies. The company has developed a full-stack Level 4 autonomous driving technology architecture, known as 'RideFlux Driver™', which is applicable to various vehicle types including passenger cars, buses, and large trucks. Having secured 88.2 billion KRW in cumulative investment, the firm holds a unique permit from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport for 'driver-out' autonomous testing without a safety officer in the driver's seat.
Key business operations include accumulating over 3,300 hours of driver-out testing data in Sangam, Seoul, and preparing to launch a robotaxi service later this year. In the logistics sector, RideFlux is the first in Korea to receive permission for paid 'hub-to-hub' autonomous freight transport. Since July, the company has been conducting regular paid transport of 25-ton autonomous trucks on a 116km route in partnership with Hanjin.
