Ridley Scott’s post‑apocalyptic thriller The Dog Stars has unveiled its final trailer, confirming an exclusive theatrical launch on August 28, 2026. The film, based on Peter Heller’s bestselling novel, follows young pilot Hig (Jacob Elordi) and hardened survivalist Bangley (Josh Brolin) as they navigate a world devastated by a pandemic, driven by a mysterious radio signal.

The cast also includes Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney, Benedict Wong and Guy Pearce. Produced by 20th Century Studios, the movie will debut in IMAX and premium large‑format screens worldwide. Regional releases are scheduled for Italy (August 26), India (August 28), Greece, Croatia and the United States on the same date.
