Rieti approves energy efficiency project for Borgo Sant’Antonio nursery school

The Rieti municipal government has approved the technical and economic feasibility project for energy efficiency upgrades at the Borgo Sant’Antonio nursery school. The initiative, promoted by Councilor Fabio Nobili, aims to modernize the school building, improve environmental comfort for children and staff, and reduce energy consumption and management costs.

The total economic framework for the project is estimated at 221,658.15 euros, with works valued at 154,292.22 euros. Funding is provided through the GSE (Gestore dei Servizi Energetici) Conto Termico mechanism, which has been re-determined at 157,566.80 euros. The municipality will provide an additional 64,091.35 euros to cover the remaining costs.

Planned interventions include thermal insulation for the roof and walls, replacement of window frames, renewal of lighting systems, installation of automated management technologies, and the replacement of the winter heating system with more efficient heat pumps.
