Rieti economic development focuses on food industry and regional support

Economic development initiatives are underway in the Rieti province to strengthen the local industrial and food sectors. Unindustria has highlighted the Rieti food supply chain as a dynamic and innovative hub for the Lazio region, noting that local businesses are increasingly investing in sustainability and the valorization of local resources.

Simultaneously, institutional leaders from the Lazio Region and the Consorzio Industriale del Lazio are coordinating to support territorial development. Roberta Angelilli, Vice President of the Lazio Region, emphasized the goal of establishing strategic axes with local territories to plan effective development. Key measures include bureaucratic simplification for businesses in disadvantaged areas and the utilization of the Simplified Logistics Zone. Additionally, new funding opportunities are being prepared, including a 100 million euro government grant for businesses scheduled to open on September 28.
