Rieti hosts 15th World Chili Fair and unveils new walking route

The 15th World Chili Fair concluded in Rieti, attracting thousands of visitors, producers, and international delegations. Organized by the association Rieti Cuore Piccante in collaboration with the Accademia Italiana del Peperoncino, the event highlighted biodiversity, agriculture, and gastronomy, serving as a significant showcase for the Lazio region and the Italian agri-food sector.

During the fair, a presentation was held for the new “Sulla Via del Volto Santo tra Longone e Vallecupola” walking route. This project aims to promote local history, spirituality, and landscape through art. Artists Gianni Turina and Enrico Di Sisto presented works inspired by votive shrines and traditional religious art, which will eventually be installed in local parishes to serve as landmarks along the pilgrimage path.
