Rieti hosts ‘Camminata per la Vita’ for health and prevention awareness

The twelfth edition of the ‘Camminata per la Vita’ (Walk for Life) took place in Rieti, an initiative organized by ALCLI ‘Giorgio Silvia’ to promote health, solidarity, and oncological prevention.

Local institutions participated in the event, including the Rieti Police Headquarters and the Sacchetti Sassetti Comprehensive Institute. Police personnel used the occasion to support the ‘...questo non è amore’ (this is not love) institutional campaign, which aims to prevent and combat gender-based violence by helping women recognize signs of abusive relationships.

Students from the Sacchetti Sassetti Institute joined the procession to promote civic responsibility and health awareness. The event is part of the ‘Ottobre Rosa’ (Pink October) calendar, focusing on collective awareness regarding cancer prevention and community care.
