Rieti logistics workers face relocation risks

Ten logistics workers for the ASL Rieti healthcare service are facing potential relocation to warehouses in Furbara, approximately 240 kilometers away. The Fisascat-Cisl union has raised concerns that the new contract requires these employees to undertake heavy daily commutes, which could cost nearly 400 euros per month in fuel.

Union representative Stefano Diociaiuti stated that the current conditions force workers to choose between unsustainable personal costs and losing their jobs. The union is calling for the incoming company to maintain employment levels within the Rieti territory to protect both the workers' livelihoods and the quality of local healthcare logistics services.
