Rieti School Network launches Sabina history workshops

The School Network of the Province of Rieti has launched an innovative educational program focused on the ancient history of the Sabina region. In collaboration with local museums and cultural associations, the initiative provides interactive workshops for middle and high school students.

Students will participate in immersive activities outside traditional classrooms, including guided tours, archaeological excavation simulations, and the study of historical artifacts. A primary focus will be placed on significant sites such as the Trebula Mutuesca archaeological area. The program aims to foster civic awareness and environmental protection by connecting younger generations with their local monumental and museum heritage through a combination of theoretical lessons and field trips.
