Various Italian regional fairs scheduled for late August 2026
Several traditional Italian festivals and fairs are scheduled to take place across various regions from late August to early September 2026.
In Carmagnola, the 77th National Pepper Fair will be held at BTM PalaPeperone from August 28 to September 6. The event features show-cooking, tastings, and culinary challenges, including a bagna cauda competition and demonstrations of Texan barbecue techniques. Notable participants include TikTok creator Tommaso Tarantino and local restaurants like Antica Trattoria Monviso and Osto Bruma.
Rieti will host the 15th World Championship Chili Pepper Fair, which includes various cultural and gastronomic exhibitions. Due to the event, local public transport services managed by ASM Rieti will undergo modifications, including street closures in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II and changes to several bus lines.
Montefusco is celebrating the 610th anniversary of the Fiera e Sagra di Sant’Egidio from August 28 to 30. The festivities include historical parades, artisanal markets, and traditional local cuisine.
San Felice sul Panaro will hold its 413th September Fair from August 28 to September 1, themed ‘The Earth is Life.’ The program includes musical performances, hobby markets, and various local competitions.
