Rieti to host Mediofondo La Valle Santa cycling event

The Mediofondo La Valle Santa cycling event is scheduled for Sunday, September 6, in Rieti. Organized by Grifo Bike Perugia with support from local cycling groups, the event is part of the ‘Pedalando l’Umbria di Francesco’ format.

Participants can choose between two routes: a 90.5-kilometer long course and a 65-kilometer medium course. Both routes feature refreshment points in Rivodutri and Cantalice. The itinerary passes through the Valle Santa Reatina, visiting four historic Franciscan sanctuaries: Fonte Colombo, Greccio, La Foresta, and Poggio Bustone.

The event begins at 8:30 from piazzale Mercatanti and will conclude with a pasta party and awards ceremony at Perseo. Registration is available on-site at the Perseo Shopping Center on September 5 and 6.
