Rififi series to broadcast on Alpha TV

The six-episode mini-series ‘Rififi’, directed by Sotiris Tsafoulias, is set to broadcast on the Alpha television network following its successful premiere on Cosmote TV. The production, written by Vasilis Risvas and Dimitra Sakali, is inspired by a notorious 1992 bank robbery in the Neo Kosmos area of Athens.

The narrative follows three men—Nikos, Vakis, and Michalis—who are brought together by shared experiences of loss. They are approached by a mysterious woman named Olga, played by Evangelia Moumouri, who proposes a dangerous plan. The series blends the historical heist with a human story involving a separate tragedy from the early 2000s concerning a bank's failure to release funds for a child's medical treatment.

The cast includes Vasilis Charalampopoulos, Panos Vlachos, Protheus Aleiferopoulos, Vladimiros Kyriakidis, Dimis Gigantakis, and Christos Chatzipanagiotis, supported by a large ensemble of Greek actors.
