Riga Zebra basketball club Rīgas zeļļi announces Europe Cup schedule

Latvian basketball club Rīgas zeļļi will make its debut in the ULEB Europe Cup, beginning the group stage on 29 September with a home game against Italy's Derthona (A‑Series). A week later the team travels to face the Seawolves from Germany. The third round sees Rīgas zeļļi host Olimpija Ljubljana from Slovenia on 14 October, then play away matches against Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel and San Pablo Burgos of Spain on 21 and 28 October. The first‑round continuation includes a home game versus Le Mans (France) on 4 November and an away fixture against Aris Thessaloniki (Greece) on 11 November. The second round concludes on 12 January with a home match against Aris. Rīgas zeļļi are the first Latvian club since 2015 to qualify for Europe’s second‑tier club competition, joining 32 teams split into eight geographically based groups, with the top four from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
