Rigatoni’s restaurant closes in Dublin after 27 years

Rigatoni’s, a long-standing Italian restaurant in Dublin, California, has permanently closed its location on Dublin Boulevard after 27 years of operation. The closure marks a continued contraction for the Italian restaurant group, which previously operated multiple locations across the Tri-Valley area.

A sign posted at the entrance thanked customers for their support and noted that while the Dublin location is closed, the group continues to operate other restaurants. Remaining locations include Rigatoni’s in Castro Valley, as well as Strizzi’s in downtown Pleasanton, downtown Livermore, and downtown Fremont.

Owned by Ray Bartolomucci Jr., the restaurant group’s Strizzi’s brand has operated since 1986. Other previous locations, including a Rigatoni’s in Hayward and a Red Smoke Grill in Pleasanton, have also closed in recent years.
