Rihanna reveals she has approximately 170 unreleased songs

During a Fenty Beauty TikTok livestream, singer Rihanna disclosed that she possesses at least 170 unreleased tracks. Using a metaphor related to her cosmetics brand, she stated, “If there are 10 products in a vault, then I have at least 17 vaults.”

This revelation comes nearly a decade after the release of her eighth studio album, ANTI, in 2016. While fans have long anticipated her ninth studio album, often referred to as R9, no official release date has been announced. Rihanna has previously indicated that she has been selective with her material, seeking a musical direction that reflects her artistic evolution rather than prioritizing commercial success.

Speculation regarding her return to music has been supported by recent sightings in the studio. In August, A$AP Rocky confirmed that the singer is actively recording new music.
