Riikka Purra criticizes Finnish government coalition partners
Finnish Finance Minister Riikka Purra has publicly criticized her government coalition partners, accusing them of “paskanpuhuminen” (talking nonsense) following reports regarding the oil distribution obligation. The dispute arose after an analysis suggested that the Finns Party was bluffing about its stance on fuel distribution requirements.
Purra stated on social media that her coalition partners are in a state of “panic.” She noted that the Finns Party has consistently sought to ease the distribution obligation. According to Purra, the Swedish People's Party has been entirely opposed to the measure from the beginning, while the National Coalition Party remains divided, with its environmental wing leading the opposition. She identified the Christian Democrats as the only party that has supported the Finns Party's position on this issue.
