Rijeka expands bus line 1 service to Pavlovac

Starting Monday, September 7, 2026, KD Autotrolej will implement changes to bus line 1 in Rijeka to improve connectivity in the western part of the city. Following an agreement with the Kantrida Local Committee, certain departures of line 1 will be extended to the Pavlovac/Panorama terminus, following the route Pećine – Plumbum – Bivio – Panorama.

The new schedule includes 20 additional trips, with 10 in each direction, specifically timed to accommodate morning commutes to work and school, as well as afternoon and evening returns. This extension is currently in a testing phase; transit staff will monitor passenger numbers to determine if similar service should be introduced on weekends and holidays.

Additionally, line 32 will now include a stop at the market in Iva Street. To assist passengers, Autotrolej has placed QR code stickers at 205 bus stops across Rijeka. These codes allow commuters to view real-time schedules via mobile devices at stops that lack digital arrival displays.
