Rijeka sports event connects 500 students at Belveder

Approximately 500 students from three primary schools in Rijeka participated in the ‘Tonči Smolčić – Smola’ sports meetings held at SRC Belveder. The event featured various sports presentations, training polygons, and practical activities designed to introduce children to local sports clubs and encourage physical activity.

Organized by MNK CB Campetto in collaboration with the Association of School Sports Societies of the City of Rijeka, the event honors Tonči Smolčić – Smola, who worked at the Belveder Youth Playground for 30 years. Dolores Smolčić, president of MNK CB Campetto, noted the importance of such gatherings in connecting the community and helping children find sports that bring them joy.
