Rijnsburgse Boys issues bans following supporter violence
The Rijnsburgse Boys football club has implemented disciplinary measures following a series of supporter incidents during recent matches. The club board has suspended individuals involved in fights during first-team league games and issued bans preventing them from entering the sports park.
In addition to individual suspensions, the club has paused its cooperation with the RBB Supporters Association regarding activities at the complex. These actions follow four incidents involving the club's own supporters across seven matches this season. Notable incidents include a fight following an away match against IJsselmeervogels that resulted in a head wound and vehicle damage, as well as unrest during a match against Quick Boys that led to an injury to a police officer.
The club stated that while investigations are ongoing, they have taken immediate action based on video footage and statements. Those who violate the complex bans will be reported to the police. The board intends to meet with the supporters association to establish new agreements to prevent future occurrences.
