Érika Hilton holds political rallies in Brazil to support Lula reelection

Federal Deputy Érika Hilton (PSOL-SP) has participated in political mobilizations across Brazil to support the reelection of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

In Fortaleza, Ceará, a large crowd of predominantly young Black citizens gathered in the Parangaba neighborhood to receive the deputy. During the event, Hilton expressed concerns regarding the potential impact of a victory by far-right candidates, stating that the few rights achieved by Black and LGBTQIAPN+ populations would be threatened. She noted the political risk posed by the potential influence of the PL party in the judiciary and legislature.

In João Pessoa, Paraíba, Hilton participated in the “Refundar o Brasil: Ato da Virada com a Juventude e Erika Hilton” event at Ponto de Cem Réis. Organized by local leaders, the mobilization focused on engaging youth in the campaign, emphasizing themes such as the defense of democracy, the reduction of inequalities, and the guarantee of social rights.
