Riko Higashio shares photos of son playing for father's baseball team

Professional golfer and television personality Riko Higashio shared photos on Instagram featuring her father, former professional baseball player Osamu Higashio, and her eldest son, Ritaro.

Her son is currently a second-year junior high school student playing for Setagaya Nishi Little Senior, a hardball baseball team for middle schoolers founded by Osamu Higashio in 1995. Riko noted that as an only child, her father was particularly happy that his grandson chose to play baseball and joined the specific team he established.

The team, which Osamu Higashio co-founded, has a history of success in national championships and has produced professional players. Ritaro is currently participating in autumn tournaments with the goal of competing in national competitions next spring.
