Riku Hirosue scores sixth consecutive year of goals for Line Mail Aomori
Line Mail Aomori goalkeeper Riku Hirosue achieved a rare feat by scoring his fifth career goal in the Japan Football League (JFL) during a match against Okinawa SV on September 12.
Hirosue converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute, sending the ball into the bottom right corner to equalize the game at the time. This goal marks his sixth consecutive year scoring in official competitions, a streak that began in 2021. While he did not score in the league during the first half of the 2025 season, he maintained his scoring record by netting twice in the Emperor's Cup against Yokohama F. Marinos and Blaublitz Akita.
Despite Hirosue's successful penalty, Line Mail Aomori ultimately lost the match 1-4 to Okinawa SV, with Okinawa's Sora Kobori scoring a hat-trick.
