Riley Green discusses gradual fame and upcoming album release
Country music star Riley Green has reflected on his career trajectory, noting that his gradual rise to fame has allowed him to adjust to the attention. In an interview with American Songwriter, Green expressed gratitude for his steady progression from his 2018 debut single, ‘There Was This Girl,’ to headlining arenas and winning ACM and CMA awards.
Green's commercial success has shown consistent growth on the Billboard 200 charts. His 2019 debut, ‘Different 'Round Here,’ reached No. 95, followed by ‘Ain't My Last Rodeo’ at No. 79 in 2023, and ‘Don't Mind If I Do’ at No. 25 in 2024.
Looking ahead, Green is set to release his fourth studio album, ‘That's Just Me,’ on September 18. He will also expand his presence in television as a coach on the 30th season of ‘The Voice,’ joining fellow coaches Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and Queen Latifah.
