Riley Green joins coaching panel for ‘The Voice’ Season 30

Country singer Riley Green has joined the coaching panel for Season 30 of ‘The Voice’, which premieres Monday, Sept. 21, on NBC. Green noted that coaching the singing competition is significantly easier than his previous acting experiences, such as his role in ‘Marshals’, because it allows him to ‘just be me’ rather than portraying a character.

Green will join existing coaches including Queen Latifah, Kelly Clarkson, and Adam Levine. He also mentioned his upcoming album, ‘That’s Just Me’, which is scheduled for release on Friday, Sept. 18. In discussing his predecessor, Blake Shelton, Green remarked that Shelton’s personality and humor provided a helpful template for his own approach to the role.
